ARTURO BANDINI

Los Angeles, Marfa, Jackson Hole
2015-2018

Arturo Bandini is a curatorial collaboration between Michael Dopp & Isaac Resnikoff. It existed in a small building — legally a shed —designed by Joakim Dahlqvist, in the parking lot behind Project Room HQ.

In 2016 Ballroom Marfa commissioned Arturo Bandini to build a replica of the structure in Marfa, TX. Four shows were held in Marfa, after which the structure was repurposed and is now a hot dog stand.

A third copy was built in Jackson Hole, WY on the occasion of the 2017 Great American Eclipse.
